Quick Start
After installation, directly enter in your Agent:
/dbs I run a kids programming course with 40 paying students, but the renewal rate is very low. I need to determine whether the problem is with the product, pricing, or that I'm targeting the wrong customers.
/dbs will read the current conversation context and select the appropriate analysis path. After one round, continue adding new facts or feedback, then enter /dbs again, and it will decide what to advance next.

Knowledge Base & Local Records
The repository publicly provides 4,176 structured knowledge atoms, method documents organized by Skill, and a high-frequency concept dictionary.

- To turn your local folder directly into a knowledge base, use

Public Tweets Collection
The public tweets collection contains curated original tweets from dontbesilent, available in two formats:
- Markdown Reading Version: Suitable for searching, copying, and feeding to AI analysis.
- PDF Reading Version: Suitable for full reading and offline download.
The tweets collection is independent of the Skills package. When installing Skills, the tweets collection is not automatically downloaded.
Notes
- Updating: When dbskill is already installed, simply say "update dbskill" to your current Agent. It will sync the official version without modifying your archives, reports, and decision records in
~/.dbs/. - Version Compatibility: In v2.18.15 update,
dbs-bridgedefaults to supporting WorkBuddy and avoids~/.agents/skillsto prevent duplicate display when Codex scans both skill directories. For universal Agents like 豆包 Mac App or Trae Solo, use--with-agentsexplicitly. - Data Storage: Decision records, archives, and reports are saved locally in
~/.dbs/by default; they are not automatically uploaded. - License: This project is licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0. Personal use, learning, research, and non-commercial projects are allowed. When publishing derivative works, please credit the source. Commercial use requires separate authorization; please contact the author.
